This map from GeoMAC isn’t quite realtime. Like many of the others that we currently have on our site, the data is updated daily, or in this case at least twice daily, depending on the fire.
You can click on an icon and hover over a given fire to see its name, and if you zoom in you’ll be able to see the outline, or fire perimeter, of the area that’s burning. If you click “IDENTIFY” at the top and then click inside the perimeter, a pop-up shows the fire’s size in acres, and some additional data.
